Get answers to common questions about Micro-Needling Facial Treatment.
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries with medical-grade needles that stimulate collagen and elastin production. The skin repairs itself, smoothing fine lines, minimizing scars and improving texture. Results develop gradually over weeks as collagen remodels and skin appears tighter and more youthful.
Most clients experience only mild discomfort; topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimize sensation. During the treatment you may feel pressure or tingling. Any soreness typically fades within 24–48 hours, and most people tolerate the procedure well.
Treatment plans vary by concern; most clients benefit from a series of three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Acne scars and stretch marks often need multiple sessions for optimal improvement. Maintenance sessions every six to twelve months help sustain results.
Ideal candidates are adults seeking improvement in fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, or stretch marks. It's not recommended for people with active acne, certain skin infections, autoimmune disorders, or those prone to keloids. A consultation determines suitability and personalized treatment planning.
Expect redness, mild swelling and pinpoint bleeding immediately after treatment. Skin may feel tight and sensitive for 24–72 hours, with light peeling or flaking during healing. Avoid sun exposure, harsh products, and exercise for several days; follow our aftercare for best results.
Side effects are generally mild and temporary: redness, irritation, minor bleeding, or bruising. Infection, prolonged redness, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are rare when performed properly. Choosing a qualified provider and following pre- and post-care instructions minimizes risks.
